Job Description

Sindh Rural Support Organization (SRSO) is a not-for-profit organization registered under Section 42 of the Companies Act 2017. SRSO invites applications from energetic, well-qualified, and experienced individuals for the below position:

Technical & Soft Skills Required:
The suitable candidate is required to have expertise in the following:

  • Proficiency in Risk Management, Financial Analysis, and Compliance Monitoring.
  • Strong understanding of SECP’s regulatory framework for the development sector and NBFCs.
  • Working knowledge of AML/CFT risk-based approaches.
  • Excellent report-writing, data analysis, and presentation skills.
  • Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrated integrity, discretion, and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and familiarity with analytical tools.

Core-Responsibilities:

  1. Risk Management:
  • Support the Head of Department in planning, updating, and executing SRSO’s enterprise-wide risk
    management framework, policies, and procedures.
  • Assist in identifying, assessing, and documenting operational, financial, and compliance risks
    across all SRSO programs and support functions.
  • Maintain and periodically update the Risk Registers, ensuring risks are properly categorized, rated,
    and monitored for mitigation progress.
  • Monitor Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and prepare analytical dashboards, summary reports, and
    presentations.
  • Assist in reviewing project proposals, MoUs, and funding agreements to identify risk implications
    and recommend mitigation measures.
  • Support awareness initiatives and internal capacity building on risk management processes,
    systems, and tools.

2. Regulatory Compliance: 

  • Monitor SRSO’s compliance with applicable laws, including SECP and SBP regulations, NPO
    directives, NBFC Rules, AML/CFT Act, Companies Act, and Shariah Governance Regulations.
  • Assist in maintaining and updating SRSO’s Compliance Register, tracking filing deadlines,
    regulatory communications, and internal policy adherence.
  • Prepare compliance reports, documentation, and correspondence for submission to SECP, SBP, or
    other regulatory bodies as required.
  • Conduct initial reviews of suspicious transaction/activity alerts for further review.
  • Liaise with head office departments and regional offices to ensure the timely provision of data
    required for compliance reviews or regulatory inquiries.
  • Support the Head of Department in preparing materials, presentations, and data analysis for the
    RMC Committee and Board Meetings.
  • Perform any other relevant task assigned by the supervisor.
